She Quit Smoking With The Help of a Hypnotist

And It Only Took One Session.

Over the years I have had many challenging stop smoking hypnosis clients in Melbourne. Her name was Faye and she was a heavy smoker (and I do mean HEAVY).

When Faye came to see me she was in bad shape. Having been a heavy smoker for over 40 years, her health was seriously suffering and she knew that after trying every trick in the book to quit, I was her last hope.

When I looked into Faye’s eyes I saw desperation. Nothing else had worked for her, she didn’t have much money and my hypnosis session was something that she was open to, despite having very little faith that it would work.

But…as I tell all my clients, you don’t have to believe in hypnosis for it to work.

This lady had a real good reason for quitting. Imagine having to be hooked up to an oxygen tank for the rest of your life?

That’s where she was headed.

No matter- I’ve seen people with diabetes who are about to lose a limb as a result of diabetes who would rather keep smoking and hop on one leg than quit. I’ve even had cancer patients who can’t let it go. It’s really THAT scary for some people!

And it sure was scary for Faye. But she pushed through her fear and made it to my office, ready and willing to give it a go. So….we did the session. After the session we said goodbye and I gave her my card.

3 months later I got this email in my inbox:

My mother Faye went through you to stop smoking. It worked, I can’t thank you enough. Her next step was a wheel chair and oxygen tank if she didn’t give up smoking. You have given her back her health and independence. Thank you again so much.’

I could practically see the grin from ear to ear on Faye’s face. I was so proud of her!

Let me tell you; if Faye can do it, so can you.

Many people who come to see me for stop smoking hypnosis in Melbourne lack one very important quality – faith in themselves. You may think you’re not strong enough to quit smoking, but think again. A good hypnotherapist can take you part of the way-  but YOU’RE the one who has the power to do this.

You might be terrified; you might feel like you’re not strong enough; but the truth is you have all the ability within you to quit smoking for good.

It starts with the intention to quit.
